Tina considers herself fortunate to have spent her life in and around horses, with her working life focusing on racehorses and the bloodstock industry. This background and Tina’s passion for the sport led to the launch of Insignia Racing in the Autumn of 2010 and we are proud to say since that first season, Insignia Syndicates have had winners every year; with the exception of 2020 when we chose not to have runners due to the pandemic.
Mick started training in 1989 and scored his first Group One success with Piccolo in the Nunthorpe Stakes of 1994. Plenty of black type races have followed including the major highlight of winning the Irish Classic 1,000 Guineas with Samitar. In 1999, Mick made the move from Lambourn to the wonderful historic stables of West Ilsley, which he purchased from Her Majesty The Queen. Here we are lucky to have exceptional facilities including private gallops and a wonderful Owners’ room which has seen some memorable syndicate parties!
