SWISS PHILLY
Bay Filly (GB) (06.04.16)
Cacique (IRE) ex Vespasia (Medicean)

This is a lovely type of filly. We were determined to have her, as she is a half-sister to UNILIT, who was a black type placed filly for us and gave us enormous fun. Her sire Bungle Inthejungle has his first runners this season and early indications are he has some nice types, of which we consider her one.

This filly is a super individual.  She may need a bit of time but we are confident she will develop into a quality type.  She is eligible for the Plus10 bonus races. She is showing she has a great attitude and can't wait to get on with things and is proving very popular in the yard.

JUNGLE JUICE

Enjoyed a very consistent 2018 season and gave us lots of enjoyment.

She finished out of the frame only twice of her 7 starts and you could make excuses on the two occasions she missed out.

She is a nice scopey filly and we are hopeful she will continue to improve into 2019

JUNGLE JUICE SECURES FIRST WIN

Please see main news section.

JUNGLE JUICE DELIGHTS ON HER FIRST RUN

Jungle Juice looked a real pro on her first run at Goodwood.  She looks to have an ideal temperament and took everything in her stride.  Jockey, Joe Fanning settled her towards the rear early on, and she made effortless progress two furlongs out, going through quite a narrow gap.  She was beaten just a head in a photo finish, having momentarily looked like the winner.

Joe was complimentary and said "she's a lovely filly and should win for you".  We were all delighted with such a promising first run.

SWISS PHILLY

A delightful filly to deal with and showed some pleasing work on the gallops.  However, she kept growing and as a result was a little too weak to be asked any serious questions.

Mick thinks she will benefit from being given the time she needs and we are hopeful she will give us some fun next season.
